I’m Megan Cagle, a Nurse Practitioner and the founder of GreenScripts Functional Medicine.

After years in emergency and surgical care, and even more as a provider in family and rural medicine, I realized something was missing for my patients—and for myself.

When I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, I did everything “by the book,” but I still didn’t feel better. That’s when I discovered functional medicine—and everything changed. I finally began to heal.

Now, I help others do the same by looking deeper, listening closely, and treating the whole person—not just symptoms.
